Annie's Garden Release by Stamp Anniething

Hi Friends!

The big day has finally arrived...Im SOOO excited to be able to showcase the first ever Annie's Garden release by Stamp Anniething.
If I am being honest, it has been a long time since I have coloured up florals but what a joy it was to step outside of my comfort zone and grow as a colourist. I adore all the beautiful images but must admit I am a little biased as my Dad (Ronald Kropf) is the artist behind all these images.
I coloured up all the stamped images using Copic markers (not that you would expect anything else from me 😉) and had fun playing with stencils, inks, splattering and texture paste to add all those extra details.
I hope you enjoy my creations featuring this amazing release!

Yay! Finally!

Hi Friends!
I am back with another card creation...I must say I have been on a real creative swing these past few days and it feels amazing. I have been busy working on design team project but also sneaking in some time to colour up other images that I love. Back in May, my wonderful friend Sandy Boone over at Three Room Studio Stamps sent me the most amazing care Package. In it was the "Yay!" stamp set...I must say I have never seen a stamp set like it before (if you haven't checked out her stamps, you are truly missing out)...just looking at it sparked joy. I went back to work shortly after receiving her care package and sadly it sat on my desk for far too long waiting for me to colour it up.

I coloured her up using Copic markers, I even attempted a pattern on her shirt using my markers to create a heart pattern. The card layout was kept simple to keep the emphasis on my coloured image. I did some simple ink blending and splattering behind the tag in order to ground the tag and image more against the stark white background. To finish off my card, I stamped the sentiment "Finally" and heat embossed it using white embossing powder and added some iridescent sequins for that little bit of sparkle.

Until nest time...
Stephen

Rainbow Splatter

 Hello Friends!

I know it's has been a while...I'm so sorry. Blogging was put on the back burner once I was able to return to work back in May of 2020. My business was shut down as part of the Canada wide shut down to help stop the spread of COVID-19... it was a long 2 months of not working but when I was finally able to return, I spent the next 7 months catching up. That being said, I am so happy to be back and posting again!

Yesterday I so wanted to be creative but didn't feel like I had it in me to do so. I ended up pulling out some images I had previously coloured up and decided to turn them into cards. I can't tell you how much fun I had experimenting and creating backgrounds, it was exactly what I needed to do and totally got my creative juices flowing. Here is one of my favourite backgrounds that came from all this experimenting. Its simple, quick and easy...I call it rainbow splatter

I coloured this image over a year and a half ago. Its a retired image from Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps. I'm super proud of the colouring but at the time, didn't have a clue what I wanted to do with it.
