Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps - January Previews Day 2

Hi Friends! We are on day 2 of previews for Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps

This stamp set is near and dear to my heart as I recently lost two of my precious furry friends - One in October and one in December. I think loosing a pet is one of the most heart breaking things you can go through and I am so happy that there is now a stamp set that shares the sentiments of loosing a furry family member.

I started by stamping the image of the dog in Dessert Sand ink by Memento. It is a very light ink, perfect for the no-line colouring technique I used to colour this card. If you would like to try no-line colouring for yourself, I wrote an in depth post on how to do it here. It is so fun and once you get the hang of no-line, you will want to do it again and again.

I used the following Copic markers to colour this image

Copics:
Dog - E59, E57, E55, E53
Collar - B16, B14, B12
Wings - W7, W5, W3, W1
I also added the blush for the checks with a coloured pencils to warm the image up a bit

I used various stencils to create the background with my distress inks. If you would like to see how I created the cloud background with Distress Ink, click here

lastly, I added some shimmery gold dots with a gold gel pen for an added touch.
