Stamp AnnieThing - Make your own rainbow

Hi Friends!
Its my day to share a card creation on the Stamp AnnieThing blog today and I created a card using a stamp set that every marker enthusiast needs to have...Samantha - Make your own rainbow!

I coloured her  using the following Copic markers

Skin - E04, E11, E21, E00, E50, R20
Hair - E44, E43, E42, Y21
Dress - R89, R85, R83, BV04, BV01, BV00
Copic Marker - C4, C2, C0, 0, V09, V06

To finish off my card, I kept the layout super simple by adding rainbow striped pattern paper along the left hand side and accenting it with a small strip of purple card stock as well as doing some simple ink blending using using Wilted Violet Distress Ink.

I hope you enjoyed my latest card creation!

Bellariffic Friday - Balance

Hi Friends! Welcome to another Bellariffic Friday challenge. This weeks challenge is to use something from the Stamp of the Month collection. So I chose "Leo the balancing stuffie

I coloured Leo with my Copic markers using the following markers

Lion - E57, E55, E53, , YR27, YR24, YR26
Nose/Tires - W9, W7, W6
Grass - YG13, YG11
Bike Seat - G29, G24

to create the cloud background, I used coloured pencils and blended it out with gamsol

I was so happy with how the colouring turned out, I decided I didn't want to place the sentiment from the stamp set on the front so I put it on the inside of the card.
I hope you liked my card creation for this week.

Until next time - Stephen

Paper Nest Dolls

Hi friends!
I was contacted by Paper Nest Dolls to create a card for them using the stamp set Avery in a Rain Poncho

I stamped the image on Neenah Desert Storm cardstock and coloured it with Prismacolor coloured pencils. I had fun added extra elements to the card with my coloured pencils and outlining it with a white gel pen.

I hope you like my card creation!

Until next time - Stephen

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps - February Previews Day 3

Hi Friends and welcome to the final day of previews from kraftin' Kimmie Stamps

I absolutely love this stamp set that was illustrated by artist Emilie Goulet called, "Wild World".

I stamped the image in VersaFine Onyx Black ink on Neenah Desert Storm card stock and coloured it up with my Prismacolor coloured pencils. I loved how my colouring turned out so much that I wanted to keep my card design very simple,  which allows all the focus to remain on the colouring. I fussy cut around the top portion of the image and used my paper trimmer to cut a straight line across the bottom.  I then added patterned paper with playful hearts on it to the background and adhered my image with foam tape to it. To finish my card off, I stamped the sentiment on the front panel and hand drew some loose line around the image to frame it

Stamp AnnieThing February Release - Day 3

Hi and welcome to our February Release!
This release is based on some community service careers!

Zac is available in the store NOW along with the other 2 stamps we showed you  this week!!

I created another clean and simple card today featuring Zac - Police. I took the left over diecut piece from the brick background I created from Day One of previews. Don't you just love when you can create two cards from one background?
I also used some striped pattern paper and matted everything with some black card stock. Next, I took the sentiment from the stamp set and curved it to match the cute of the circle diecut. I then stamped it and heat embossed the sentiment with white embossing powder.
I stamped Zac - Police with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and coloured him using the following Copic markers:

Skin - E04, E11, E21, E00, E50, R20
Hair - YR27, YR24, YR31
Gold - T28, Y26, Y21
Uniform - B99, B97, B95, B93, T9, T7, T5, T3

I hope you enjoyed our Sneek Peek for the release!

 Have a great day!

Bellariffic Friday Challenge - Vintage

Happy Friday Friends! I have another card creation to share with you today. This time its for the Bellariffic Friday challenge happening over on the Stamping Bella blog. This weeks challenge is "Vintage" and the design team was challenged to use any stamp set not from the recent release.

I pulled out the Cacti stamp set and the accompanying Cut It Out dies

I coloured the images with my Copic markers and added gold details to the pots using a gold gel pen. To carry through with the gold, I masked off  square area on my card  base and used some gold Nuvo Mousse to create a backdrop for my freshly coloured and die cut images.

I hope you like my card creation for this weeks Bellariffic challenge. Be sure to stop by the Bella blog to see what the rest if the design team created.

Until next time - Stephen
