Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps - Tweetie Pies

Hi Friends! 
I have a fun, clean and simple card to share with you today that you can whip up in no time.

I coloured this adorable image from the Tweetie Pies stamp set with Copic markers and then cut her using my Brother Scan N Cut.

My card layout is pretty simple which I have been really into the last while. I started by ink blending Purple Petunia Krafty Kolours hybrid inks onto some purple cardstock using the Leaves and Vines stencil. I made a point to lighten my hand to give the soft look around the edges. Next I placed my ink blended piece onto some striped green diagonal  pattern paper that I had in my collection. I diecut a circle and did some more ink blending using the Charming Chartreuse Hybrid Ink (which matched the green in the pattern paper perfectly!!...I love it when that happens!!) To finish off my card I added a few green enamel dots from the Rainbow Dots collection (which also matched the patten paper and Charming Chartreuse Ink perfectly!! Woohoo)

No Pattern Paper Challenge

Hi Friends! 

Today I have a card to share with you that I created as part of a challenge from Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps 

This weeks challenge is "No Pattern Paper"

I created a scene card using the "Make A Wish" stamp set. 

The images were coloured with Copic markers then masked off so I could do the background. The entire background was done by ink blending using Krafty Kolours hybrid inks and the Krafty Scenery Stencil. 

To finish off my card, I added some details using a white gel pen, a heat embossed sentiment on a banner, and a few iridescent sequin for good measure.

Otter-ly Adorable!!

I must admit, the moment I first laid eyes on the "From the Otter Side" stamp set I fell in LOOOOVE! This set is so fun to colour and I was so excited to get to create another project using it. 

With the holidays approaching, I love creating clean and simple  card designs and I feel like "From the Otter Side" lends itself perfectly to that.

To create my card, I started by ink blending a background using Purple Pansy, Mermaid Melody, and Bubbly Blue Krafty Kolour inks. To achieve the water droplet effect, I used an aqua painter that is filled with bleach and simply dropped the water and bleach mixture onto the ink blended background.

To colour the super sweet otter, I used the following Copic markers E49, E47, E57, E35.

Inspirational Wednesday - Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps

Good Morning and Happy Wednesday Friends!!!
Welcome to an Inspirational Wednesday post!

Each week one of the amazing design team members from Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps posts a creation to inspire you to get creative with your krafty stamps!

This week its my turn to share and I decided to use the Heavenly Holiday clear stamp set!

Coloured with Copic makers, background is created using Krafty Kolours Inks in Yummy Yellow, Ruby Red, and Marvellous Mocha 

I stamped out the image with Wicked Black ink and coloured it up using Copic markers.

The background was created by masking off the image then ink blending using a stencil with Ruby Red and Yummy Yellow Krafty Kolour inks. To achieve that vintage feel, I ink blended the edges with Marvellous Mocha ink.

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps May Sneak Peeks - Day One

Hi Friends!

Today we are kickin' off our MAY Krafty Peeks

at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

You *may* have seen a peek or two of today's stamp set over the last couple of weeks! That's because it was part of the latest Krafty Kard Kit AND it works in perfect combination with the brand NEW Krafty Kolours Hybrid Inks!!

It's BEAUTIFUL BLOOMS!

This new floral set by artist Melissa Baker-Nguyen is absolutely stunning! It contains several gorgeous large flower images....carnations, roses, daisies....oh my!

The set also comes with a choice of a few different leaf styles and stems! Plus the sweet sentiment, Bloom where you are!

For this card, I stamped the leaf image in Lovely lagoon Krafty Kolours ink. Next I used my Prismacolor coloured pencils to kick the image up a notch, adding more depth by using a dark, medium and light green coloured pencil.

To create my background, I did some ink blending using Purple Pansy Krafty Kolours Ink. I also tinted  Texture Paste using the Purple Pansy ink to get this awesome textured tone on tone effect.
