Stamp AnnieThing - Red, White and Blue

Hi Friends! 

Today I am kicking off theme week over at Stamp AnnieThing with the challenge for this month which is Red, White, and Blue. 

I coloured up "Tess - Rock On" using my Copic markers, being sure to keep my colour pallete small - pretty much limiting it to Red, White and Blue. I created a fun background using texture paste with a brick stencil and ink blended over it using Distress Oxide inks. I heat embossed the sentiment using white embossing powder on a small strip of black caardstock and finished off my card by added a few black Nuvo Drops.

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps May Sneak Peeks - Day One

Hi Friends!

Today we are kickin' off our MAY Krafty Peeks

at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

You *may* have seen a peek or two of today's stamp set over the last couple of weeks! That's because it was part of the latest Krafty Kard Kit AND it works in perfect combination with the brand NEW Krafty Kolours Hybrid Inks!!

It's BEAUTIFUL BLOOMS!

This new floral set by artist Melissa Baker-Nguyen is absolutely stunning! It contains several gorgeous large flower images....carnations, roses, daisies....oh my!

The set also comes with a choice of a few different leaf styles and stems! Plus the sweet sentiment, Bloom where you are!

For this card, I stamped the leaf image in Lovely lagoon Krafty Kolours ink. Next I used my Prismacolor coloured pencils to kick the image up a notch, adding more depth by using a dark, medium and light green coloured pencil.

To create my background, I did some ink blending using Purple Pansy Krafty Kolours Ink. I also tinted  Texture Paste using the Purple Pansy ink to get this awesome textured tone on tone effect.

Stamp AnnieThing January Release - Day 3

Hi and welcome to our first release for the NEW YEAR!

We are so excited to share with you all the wonderful new stamps and other

wonderful products we will carry in our line this year!

I had a lot of fun creating this card. I started by colouring up Charlotte using my Copic markers then cutting her out using my Brother Scan n' Cut.

Skin - E04, E11, E21, E00, E50, R20

Hair - E57, E55, E53, E51, E50

Dress - V95, V93, V91, W3, W2, W0

Shoes - W7, W4, 0

To create the background, I started by doing some ink blending using  Distress Oxide inks in the colours Fossilized Amber, Wilted Violet, and Faded Jeans...I really liked this colour combo.

I then used a brick stencil as well as some texture paste to create the illusion of a stone wall to help set my scene.

Stamp AnnieThing October Release - Day 2

Hi and welcome to Day #2 of 

Stamp Anniething's October Release!

Eloise will be available in the store Friday along with the other 2 stamps we showed you  this week!!

I played around with a number of mediums to create this very cool textured card. I started by creating the sunburst background using a stencil and Distress Oxide inks...I am really loving those Oxide inks. I then diecut out the mountains as well as the Torii gate and added some gold gel pen accents. To create the foreground, I started by blending gold and bronze Nuvo Mousse directly onto some white card stock. I then pulled out my Tim Holz texture paste and added some champaign Gelato medium to the texture paste to tint it, then applied the texture paste using a stencil.

Eloise was coloured with my Copic markers and Fussy cut out. To finish off the card, I added a few gold sequins to help draw your eye across the card.
