MFT & Friends - Wish Big

Hi Friends!
Welcome to July 2022 Release celebration from My Favorite Things.
All the goodies you see today as well as the previous 5 days are now available for purchase in the My Favorite Things online shop

I’m sure by now your list of “must haves” from this release keeps growing and growing...I know for myself, it sure was a challenge to decide which goodies I wanted to play with first. You can never have enough Birthday cards in your stash…so when I saw the “Wish Big” Die-namics, I knew I had to use them.

I created a clean and simple card project where I die cut out the “Wish Big” die-namics from a mixed media background I had made a few months back.

I cut out a piece of white card stock using the “A2 Double Stitched STAX rectangles” Die-namics and then ink blended using a yellow ink. I then placed the die cut candles directly overtop, stamped a sentiment from the “Sweet 16” stamp set (which is this months Free with $60 purchase) using a black ink.
I then matted my card front using a dark pink card stock and placed it overtop of some kraft card stock.

My Favorite Things - Chill Friends

Hi Friends!
Welcome to Day 1 of the July 2022 Release Countdown from My Favorite Things.
All the goodies you see today will be available for purchase Tuesday July 12th at 10am EST.

For todays card creation using July release goodies, I played with the “Chill Friends" stamp set and coordinating Die-namics, the “Wildflowers” 6x6 pattern paper pad as well as the previously released “Sunny Rays” stencil

I started by stamping out the images from the “Chill Friends” stamp set, colouring up the images using Copic markers and then cutting them out using the coordinating Die-namics

Next I used the “Sunny Rays” stencil on some white cardstock with yellow and orange ink. I then took a piece of pattern paper from the new “Wildflowers” 6x6 paper pad and cut it down to 1.5” x 4.25” and placed it at the bottom of my card front. My colored images where placed right above the pattern paper to create me scene and I finished off the card by heat embossing the sentiment using white embossing powder on some orange cardstock.

My Favorite Things - Happy Happy Birthday

Hi Friends!
Welcome to Day 2 of the July 2022 Release Countdown from My Favorite Things.
All the goodies you see today will be available for purchase Tuesday July 12th at 10am EST.

For todays card creation using July release goodies, I created a project using the “Happy Happy Birthday” stamp set and the “Happy Swish” Die-namics.
I started by stamping the outline “HAPPY” word from “Happy Happy Birthday” stamp set and then stamped the solid “HAPPY’ stamp using a “Butterscotch” Premium Dye inks. Next, I reinked the same stamp using “Orange Zest” Premium Dye Ink. I used a blending brush to remove the top half of the Orange Zest ink and then stamped directly overtop of the previous colour to create an ombré effect.
I knew I just had to use the “Happy Swish” Die-namics so I cut it out with white card stock and then coloured each individual piece using Copic markers in rainbow colours. Once completed I attached it directly overtop using some liquid glue.
To finish off my card, I stamped the word “Birthday” from the “Happy Happy Birthday” set using a black ink and then matted the card front using some black cardstock.
