Kawaii Cuties - Love You Bunches

Hi Friends!
Welcome to the second day of previews for the Kawaii Cuties line from Stamp Anniething

Today I created a project using the hilarious "Love You Bunches" stamp set and coordinating outline dies.
I started by stamping out and colouring the broccoli images from the "Love You Bunches" stamp set then cutting it out using the coordinating outline dies.

I created a clean and simple card layout for this card. I achieved this by simply stamping out the broccoli image multiple times in different directions to create my own pattern paper background.
I used the Annie's Alphabet die set to spell out the word "YOU".
To finish off my card, I stamped and heat embossed the remainder of the sentiment using white embossing powder and added a few iridescent sequins.

I hope you enjoyed my card creation today. The new Kawaii Cuties goodies will be available in the Stamp Anniething online store on Saturday January 15th.

Stamp Anniething - Emma - Bet Your Giraffe

Hi Friends!
I know its been a while since I posted to my blog.
Lots of exciting things have happened in my life...my partner and myself have sold our home in Ontario, Canada and moved provinces to New Brunswick, Canada. The Last 5 months have been a whirlwind as we purchased a home that is undergoing a complete renovation and I have also relocated my dog grooming salon to our home. The salon is in the process of being built out and I cant wait to get back to grooming dogs again. OH!! and I have a new craft room that I am just waiting to for the doors to be put on and then I will take some pictures and share that with you.

Anyways, enough about my life...time to share the latest sneak peek from Stamp Anniething!

Today I am previewing Emma - Bet your giraffe stamp set and coordinating outline die as well as the Monstera stencil. The awesome new items will be available for purchase on Friday, December 7th in the newly redesigned Stamp Anniething online store.

To create the background, I did simple ink blending in oranges and yellows. I then placed the Monstera stencil overtop and did ink blending using my darker orange, rotating the stencil and ink blending again to get the layered effect.

I heat embossed the sentiment using Aztec gold embossing powder from Stamp Anniething and then cut it out in a simple rectangular banner shape.

I used the Star Card Mat Die from Stamp Anniething to create a quick and easy card layout.

Stamp Anniething - The Socialites bundle

Hi Friends!
Today Stamp Anniething is kicking off the brand spanking new Socialites Bundle. This bundle is full of awesome stamps, coordinating dies and a new lace builder die set.

For my first project, I created a simple card using one of the amazing new images from the bundle that I coloured up using Copic markers. This stamp set has a bunch of accessories that you can stamp, colour up and die cut out to customize you character as you see fit. I decided to base this character off of the Queen from the Netflix show Bridgerton
For the remainder of my card, I used the Fancy Swirls stencil for the background and added the new lace builder die set from the bundle in coordinating colours

For my second card, I went all out and created a slimline slider card to help set the scene using two stamped images that I coloured up to look like Daphne and Simon from Bridgerton.
To create my scene, I used the Cloud Builder Stencil as well as the Cobblestone stencil and then added a frame around the scene using the Slimline Frame Die.

I stamped the sentiment “Shall we promenade” directly onto the card front and I love that when you pull the tab, Simon moves towards Daphne.

I hope you like my card creations using the new Socialites bundle. I love hearing from you, leave a comment in the comments section down below.

I miss the shell out of you

Hi Friends!
I just wanted to share a card I made Live in the Stamp Anniething Stampers Facebook group. If you haven't joined that group yet, I highly recommend it as there are tons of lives from all the members of the design team sharing their talents and knowledge for FREE
I'm on a real Kraft card stock kick as of late and I just couldn't resist using kraft for the base of my card. I knew I needed something to help bring the focus to my image, so I used the Squiggle Mat Die and did some ink blending using Stamp Anniething Hybrid inks and the Desert landscape stencil. The Desert landscape stencil has a cow print pattern in it that I thought could also work to give the look of a turtle shell, I love how it turned out.

The stamp I used is one of many adorable images from the Love Me, Love My Pets Grab and Go! box and I coloured him up using Copic markers. I will be sure to list the markers used down below.
I used the Bestie word die and did some ink blending in yellows and oranges to help tie my card together.
To finish off my card I used one of the banners from the Banner Dies set and heat embossed the sentiment using white embossing powder.
I hope you like my card and if you would like to watch me making it, be sure to join the Stamp Anniething Stampers Facebook group.

Paper Crafters Unite Against Racism

Hi Friends!
Back in January of this year, I had the honour of participating in the Paper Crafters Unite Against Racism Instagram Hop. When I heard they were doing another one, I jumped at the chance to participate.

Racism is a tricky subject to talk about but it exists and we need to change that. When I was trying to decide on what I was going to do for my project, I had a moment in my mind stick out to me. It wasn't necessarily racism just more ignorance.

Back in May of 2019 me and my partner Kevin were flown in to help out my good friend Ann (of Stamp Anniething) in her booth at an expo. I was teaching how to colour with Copics and created a project showcasing our products. It was a great day and everyone loved learning how to use Copic markers. Halfway through the day (I think this was my 7th time teaching the same class) while I was handing out the markers, a person attending the class asked if I had any more skin tones to choose from as we were only showing how to colour light skin. She said she wanted to colour her image to look like her...after hearing her say that I felt mortified that I had never thought of diversity or representation. Being gay, I know what it feels like to not be seen and it so upset me that I had done that to someone else unknowingly. I immediately told the lady we didn't have a dark skin tone but I would make one up for her then and there using the markers in her kit. I quickly figured out a dark skin combo for her and continued on with the class. When we were done, she was so over the moon with her project and thanked me for taking the time create a skin tone for her...In reality I should have been the one thanking her...she opened my eyes to something I didn't even realize I was doing and I will never do again...We all deserve to be seen and feel represented in this world. I wish I knew the name of that lady but maybe one day you will read this post and if you do...thank you! Thank you for being you and for asking to be seen...this card is for you.

Annie's Garden Release by Stamp Anniething

Hi Friends!

The big day has finally arrived...Im SOOO excited to be able to showcase the first ever Annie's Garden release by Stamp Anniething.
If I am being honest, it has been a long time since I have coloured up florals but what a joy it was to step outside of my comfort zone and grow as a colourist. I adore all the beautiful images but must admit I am a little biased as my Dad (Ronald Kropf) is the artist behind all these images.
I coloured up all the stamped images using Copic markers (not that you would expect anything else from me 😉) and had fun playing with stencils, inks, splattering and texture paste to add all those extra details.
I hope you enjoy my creations featuring this amazing release!

Until next time...
