Greetings from the Couch Card Kit Release

With so many awesome scene builder dies in this kit, I just had to play around to create the most adorable living room scene. I used the Picture Window, Décor and More, Fundamental Furnishings, Potted plants and the Take a Seat Die-namics. I also used the Couch Potato stamp set.

I die cut all the elements using bright and vibrant coloured cardstock which was so fun. The dies  are so intricate but cut like butter and piecing together was a breeze.

I did a little bit of ink blending on the floor and behind the picture window to help finish off my scene and then stamped the sentiment on the top using the Couch Potato stamp set.

It’s a pretty simple card but really packs a punch. I can’t wait to see what you create using the Greetings from the Couch card kit.

My Favorite Things - Best Dog Friends

Hi Friends!

I have been playing around with some previous releases from My Favorite Things and created this fun card using the “Best Dog Friends” stamp set and coordinating outline die, as well as the  “Repeating Rainbows” Background stamp.

I started by stamping out the "Best Dog Friends" stamp set, colouring it up using Copic markers and then cutting it out using the coordinating outline dies.

Next, I stamp the “Repeating Rainbows” Background Stamp out using a purple ink and then did some quick ink blending using the same ink colour to create a tone on tone effect.

To finish off the card, I heat embossed the sentiment using white embossing powder on black card stock and then cut it down to a strip. 

I’m super pleased with how this card turned out and it was so fun to create.

Rainbow Bridge Card Kit

I created a card project using the Pet Silhouettes Die-namics, Cutest Clouds Ever Die-namics, Rainbow Bridge Goodbyes stamp set, Rainbow Bridge Die-namics, Heavenly Glow Stencil 

To start off, I used the Heavenly Glow Stencil on white card stock using a yellow and orange ink.

I then heat embossed a sentiment from the Rainbow Bridge Goodbyes stamp set using white embossing powder on black card stock.

Next I used the Rainbow Bridge Die-namics to cut out some white card stock and coloured up the pieces using Copic markers.

To finish off the card I cut some black card stock using the Pet Silhouettes Die-namics

My Favorite Things - Better Together

Hi Friends!

Welcome to Day 1 of the April 2022 Release Countdown from My Favorite Things.

All the goodies you see today will be available for purchase tomorrow, Tuesday April 12 at 10am EST in the My Favorite Things online shop.

For todays card creation using the April release goodies, I played with the “Better Together” stamp set and coordinating Die-namics as well as the previous released “Slimline Outside the Box Waves”  and the “A2 Double Stitched Rectangle STAX” Die-namics”.

I started by stamping out the adorable animal filled ark image from the “Better Together” stamp set, colouring up the images using Copic markers and then cutting it out using the coordinating Die-namics.

To set my scene I used the A2 Double Stitched Rectangle STAX” Die-namics, cutting out a white piece of cardstock then ink blending it using a yellow. Next I grabbed the Slimline Outside the Box Waves Die-namincs ink blending it using a blue and then cutting off the excess using the A2 Double Stitched Rectangle STAX” Die-namics…say that 10 times fast haha.

To finish off my card, I stamped the sentiment onto the waves portion of my card and placed my front panel onto a piece of Kraft card stock.
