MFT & Friends - Fishing You the Best Day Ever

 Hi Friends!

 Welcome to the June 2021 MFT & Friends Release celebration! As always, My Favorite Things knocked this release out of the park and I had so much fun creating my projects. 

For my final project of the release countdown, I decided to create a mini slimline card using the You Keep Me Afloat stamp set and coordinating Die-namics.

To create my scene, I started by ink blending a rainbow using Distress Inks using the Ray Of Light stencil from My Favorite Things. Next, I used Slimline Ocean Motion Die-namics and ink blended them using various blue Distress Inks and then layered new Wavy Lines stencil overtop to add some more texture and visual interest to my card. 



I coloured the adorable image of the bunny in the boat using Copic markers and die cut it out using the coordinating Die-namics. 
To finish off my card, I placed my card front onto a card base of kraft card stock, stamped the sentiment and added a fine strip of patterned card stock using the 6x6 Black & White stripes pattern paper pad.

    The bright ocean plus the rainbow sunburst make this card so bright, the scene came together beautifully!

    You set a great scene for the bunny.I love the rainbow and the ocean. It is hard to decide which one I like the most. Great job!

    Wow that is deep! The tumultuous water framed with a rainbow is so interesting as if we fell right in the middle of a storybook.
