Talk Like A Pirate

Hi Friends!! 

I have a card to share with you today featuring amazing Stamp Anniething goodies :)

I have had the Talk Like A Pirate digital image sitting in my computer for ages and I thought he was overdue for some colouring...I printed him off and coloured him up using Copic markers and added some detail with coloured pencil. Next I used some woodgrain pattern paper which I ink blended the edges of to give it a more weathered look. I cut out some watercolour cardstock using the Squiggle Mat Die and then did some ink smooshing with Distress Inks and Oxide inks. I also added some Perfect Pearls splatters in Perfect Pearl and Gold to my ink smooshing to give my card a little extra sparkle and shine. I stamped and heat embossed a sentiment onto one of the banners from the Banners die set and layered another banner in yellow behind it to give some more visual interest. Lastly I added some gold sequins to finish off my card.

Kraftin' Kimmie April Sneak Peeks - Day 4

Welcome back to Day FOUR

of our April Krafty Peeks

at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

Today is the final day of peeks and the release party is

It's called HARD WORKIN' DUDES!

It's so hard to find great GUY stamp sets and you've been asking for them so we listened! We've got the TEEN DUDES from earlier this week and now we got a set perfect for all the MEN on your list! 

The set comes with TWO main images and SEVEN mix and match sentiments to include your dad, uncle, brother and grandpa! It's amazing!

I did some simple Copic colouring and accented the image with some pattern papers as well as some detailed diecut . I added a pop of colour by doing some ink blending using the Squiggle Wiggle stencil from Stamp AnnieThing .

Now don't forget!!! It's also CHALLENGE DAY and as always, during release week the theme is ANYTHING GOES!!! So create a card, scrapbook page or altered item with a Kraftin' Kimmie stamp!! Use any sketch, any design, any embellishments because Anything Goes! Have some krafty fun and join us this week because we'd LOVE to see your KKS designs. Hi and welcome to our March Release!

Spring is right around the corner and so our release has a great new line of some fun spring stamps!

I coloured Alice - Thank Ewe using the following Copic markers

Copics:

Skin -E04, E11, E21, E00, E50, R20

Hair - E49, E47, E44, E42

Dress - B02, B01, B00, C3, C1, C0

To create the scene, I used dies from the Land Of Oz die set, did some ink blending using the Squiggle Wiggle stencil from yesterdays previews and the Tree Stencil.

Hi and welcome to our March Release!

I started by stamping the image in Momento Tuxedo Black Ink and coloured her up using the following Copic markers...

Copics:

Skin - E04, E11, E21, E00. E50, R20

Shirt -  N3, N2, N0

Skirt - G29, G24

Cookie - E15, E43, E42

I used the Squiggle Wiggle Stencil and did some basic ink blending using Victorian Velvet and Milled Lavender Distress Ink.

Next I die cut the Thanks diecut out and coloured it with my Copic markers to give it an ombre look.
