Hello Friends!
Today we are kicking off previews for the February release from Stamp Anniething.
Today I am showcasing Louise - You Crack Me Up stamp set and coordinating outline die as well as the Woven Dots stencil. These awesome new items will be available for purchase on Friday, February 4th in the newly redesigned Stamp Anniething online store.

I stamped out Louise - You Crack Me Up, coloured her up using Copic markers and then cut her out using the coordinating outline die.
I created the background using the Woven Dots stencil and Stamp Anniething hybrid inks.
The sentiment was stamp on black cardstock and heat embossed using white embossing powder from Stamp Anniething. I die cut out the word "YOU" using the Annie's Alphabet die set and then popped everything up using foam tape.

Rainbow Splatter

 Hello Friends!

I know it's has been a while...I'm so sorry. Blogging was put on the back burner once I was able to return to work back in May of 2020. My business was shut down as part of the Canada wide shut down to help stop the spread of COVID-19... it was a long 2 months of not working but when I was finally able to return, I spent the next 7 months catching up. That being said, I am so happy to be back and posting again!

Yesterday I so wanted to be creative but didn't feel like I had it in me to do so. I ended up pulling out some images I had previously coloured up and decided to turn them into cards. I can't tell you how much fun I had experimenting and creating backgrounds, it was exactly what I needed to do and totally got my creative juices flowing. Here is one of my favourite backgrounds that came from all this experimenting. Its simple, quick and easy...I call it rainbow splatter

I coloured this image over a year and a half ago. Its a retired image from Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps. I'm super proud of the colouring but at the time, didn't have a clue what I wanted to do with it.

Trying new things...

Hi Friends
Right now with everything going on and being unable to work, I decided to try something new. I recently showed a project I had done to Jennifer Dove who runs Copic Bootcamp. She loved what I had done but wanted to push me to go outside of my comfort zone. She wanted me to try creating my own face on one of Ann's images by using Creative Colour Placement.

I wanted to do some no line colour with copics as well. First I masked off the face on the image (Holly -Cheer Up) and then stamped the image with Birch Stamp Anniething hybrid ink

This is what the original image looked like next to the image where I practiced Creative Colour Placement...Now I will admit that my partner is a little freaked out by this image and in a way I can see that but the purpose of this exercise is to try something new and step outside of that box I have been in for the last little while. Even though those who I have showed it to have had mixed reactions to this, I am still proud of it and proud of myself. I tried something new and as a result I have grown as a colourist. In these times when we are stuck in our homes and the world is feeling a little scary and small, now is the perfect time to expand your horizons and try something new...learn new things and have fun with it.

I hope you are all safe and well, and I encourage you to use this time to be extra creative...try something new.

Until Next Time - Stephen

Winter Hugs

Hi Friends!
I'm back with another card creation featuring Stamp Anniething goodies.

I coloured up the Eskimo Kisses digital image using Copic markers and added some details with black and white coloured pencils. Once finished, I cut her out and place her onto a background I created using Stamp Anniehthing Hybrid inks. I had so much fun making the background and can't wait to get out my inks again to play some more. To finish off my background, I added the tree portion from the Globe - Winter Add On die in black to create a winter silhouette scene.

I diecut out the "Hugs" word multiple times and layered them together to make it more thick and heat embossed the bottom portion with silver embossing powder, which gives it that little extra bling.

I put everything together and placed it on top of the Quilted Mat Die and added a few silver sequins to bring it all together.

I hope you like my card creation for today!

Until Next Time - Stephen

Holiday card in minutes

Hi Friends!
With the holidays fast approaching, you may be like me and need some extra cards to give out to friends and family. I have a quick and easy card to share with you today that you can whip up in no time.

I my took colour inspiration from a scrap piece of patten paper I had laying around which I used for the background. I used the Holiday Tag - Winter Add On die which I Layered using Blue, Silver Glitter, and Red cardstocks.
I stamped out the word "happy" on a banner from the Banner Dies set.
To create my background, I spritzed some of the Stamp Anniething Hybrid inks from the Ink Replenishers that I mixed in a spritzer bottle onto some white cardstock. I then layered the Sashiko Abstract stencil on top and did some ink blended overtop using Stamp Anniething inks.
To finish off my card, I filled the shaker element with the Retro Squares adornments and the Snowflake Sprinkles adornments

I hope you like my card creation for today!
Until next time - Stephen

Hi Friends!
Its my day to post over on the Stamp Anniething blog and I have a very autumnal card to share with you.

I coloured up Krissy - Leaves with Copic markers then cut her out. I will list all the Copic colours I used below.
I created a quick and easy background by doing some simple ink blending using Tangerine, Freesia, and Willow Bought Stamp Anniething Hybrid inks with those amazing blender brushes. Next I used the Woodland die that came in the Conquer the World Grab and Go box and added some detail to the diecuts using Copics as well.
To frame my scene, I used the outline rectangle die from the Shaker Basics set #1 and added the Smile Diecut in the top lefthand corner.
To finish off my card, I used the Fall Leaves stencil with Birch Stamp Anniething Hybrid Inks on some grey cardstock.

I designed a stamp set!!

Hi Friends!
Stephen here...You may have already heard but if you haven't, I designed my very first stamp set that is exclusive to Stamp Anniething. It's called, "Bountiful Blessings" and I can't thank Ann enough for encouraging me to do this as it was something I didn't think I could do.
It's Thanksgiving today here in Canada and I wanted to share a few projects I made using the stamp set.

First off, I created a beautiful thanksgiving card that I coloured up using Copic markers, cut it out and placed some gold thread behind it. The background was created using Freesia Hybrid Ink from Stamp Anniething and I sprinkled some water and Perfect Pearls mixture overtop to get the water drop effect. I diecut out the stitched rectangle shape using the Shaker Basics die set and then framed it using some teal card stock. I then used some plaid cardstock I had in my collection and stamped the sentiment on a banner diecut that I got from the Banner Die set.

Next I created a few place card settings for the dinning table using the Bountiful Blessings stamp set that were super quick and easy to make.

I started by ink blending the edges of cardstock using a brown and black ink to get a vintage feel. Next I stamped the main image from the Bountiful Blessings stamp set using Pecan Hybrid Ink from Stamp Anniething and then spritzed some brown ink onto the image to continue that vintage feel I was going for. I then stamped out and gold heat embossed the sentiment onto those same Banner diecuts that I used on the card as well as the gold thread. lastly I wrote the individual's name on their card settings to finish them off.

I hope you enjoyed my creations today and I look forward to seeing what you create using the new Bountiful Blessings stamp set.

Until Next Time - Stephen

I then applied some foam tape to the back and placed her on Kraft coloured cardstock that I diecut out using the tag shape from Shaker Basics Set 2. To create my background, I used the Leaf stencil with Anns Hybrid Ink line. Lastly I heat embossed the sentiment and added some gold thread for an added touch.

Stamp: Kelsey - Believe
Stencil: Leaf Stencil

I hope you like my creation for today!
