Katy - Without the Rain

Hi Friends!

I have a card to share with you today that is perfect for someone who needs a little pick me up.

I used the stamp set "Katy - Without the Rain" and coloured her with Copic markers.

The background was created using Distress Oxide inks and a white coloured pencil. Once completed, I diecut the background out using the shaker basics set 1 of dies and placed it on top of some pattern paper that accented the colours I used in my card design. lastly I added a few sequins and stamped the sentiment out and diecut it using the Banner Dies that recently came out.

Felicity - Be Healthy

Hi Friends!!

I have a card to share with you today that I had a whole lot of fun creating. I know we are half way through January already and we usually use this time of year to kick start some resolutions. Whether it be eating healthier or to exercise more, I thought that this stamp set is perfect to encourage those who chose to live a healthier life.

I stamped out Felicity - Be Healthy and coloured her with Copic markers. 

The background is created using Distress Oxide inks, stencils and clear glitter embossing powders.

To finish off my card, I added some stitching around the boarder of my card layout using my sewing machine.

KKS Shabby Chic Challenge

Stamp AnnieThing January Previews - Day 3

Welcome to the New Year!

2019 has many exciting and new things happening for Stamp Anniething!

We are so excited for this years releases, and we are

kicking it off with a GROOVY set!

Day three consists of our latest stamp, Rae- I think You're Neato!!

I can hardly believe that it is the final day of previews for the January release. I know I have said it everyday, but this release was seriously so fun to work on...BUT on the bright side, it is now  to purchase!! woo hoo!!
Rae was coloured with Copic markers and die cut out using the coordinating die. I will be sure to have the Copic markers I used 
listed below. 
I created an ink blended background using Distress Oxide Inks in the colour of Festive Berries and Mustard Seed. Next I placed the new Retro Circles stencil overtop and spread glitter paste all over it. I love how the paste picks up the colours of the background.

I also used the Retro Circles Stencil as an embossing plate to add texture to the white background.

To finish off my card, I heat embossed the sentiment on a piece of red card stock that I die cut out using the Circle Reverse die set from Stamp AnnieThing.

Stamp AnnieThing January Previews - Day 2

Welcome to the New Year!

2019 has many exciting and new things happening for Stamp Anniething!

We are so excited for this years releases, and we are

kicking it off with a GROOVY set!

Day two consists of our latest stamp, Kimmie- So Jazzed!

How totally mod and hip is she?

Day 2 is here!!! 
Don't you just love Kimmie's hair in this image?! She was so fun to colour up. I coloured her using Copic markers (I will have all the markers listed below)
I created an ink blended background using my Distress Oxide Inks in the colours of Twisted Citron and Peacock Feathers. To add the texture to my ink blended background, I flicked water on my card and used the Burlap stencil from Stamp AnnieThing
Next I used the Retro Shape Shaker die that was previewed in yesterdays post to die cut out a piece of card that was ink blended on using Stamp AnnieThing Hybrid inks. I filled the shaker element with one of the groovy new sequin mixes.
The "Smile" sentiment was created by heat embossing a scrap piece of card stock using gold glitter embossing powder and then die cut using the new "Smile" die that was also previewed yesterday.

Oxide Inks, Stencils and Water...OH MY!!

Hi Friends! 

Today I am excited to get to kick off this months theme challenge. The challenge was to use a stencilled background in the projects creation. 

I coloured up Liberty - For a super girl with my Copic markers and cut her out and popped her up using some foam tape and placed her on top of my stencilled background. 

To create my background, I decided to play around with my oxide inks. I used Squeezed Lemonade, Ripe Persimmon, and Abandoned Coral. Now rather then using a stencil traditionally, I decided to mist the back of my stencil with water and place it on top of the ink blended background. I let it sit for a few moments before I removed it and I got this really cool bubbly textured stencilled background. It is such a fun technique to try and really gives a different look to your stencils. Be sure to check out the amazing selection of stencils available in the Stamp AnnieThing online store.

I created the background  by smooshing some Wilted Violet Distress Oxide ink...I love how it looks like a wine spill. To finish off my card, I created a simple card layout using funky pattern papers and adding a heat embossed sentiment and a splash of sequins.

Stamp AnnieThing - Red, White and Blue

Hi Friends! 

Today I am kicking off theme week over at Stamp AnnieThing with the challenge for this month which is Red, White, and Blue. 

I coloured up "Tess - Rock On" using my Copic markers, being sure to keep my colour pallete small - pretty much limiting it to Red, White and Blue. I created a fun background using texture paste with a brick stencil and ink blended over it using Distress Oxide inks. I heat embossed the sentiment using white embossing powder on a small strip of black caardstock and finished off my card by added a few black Nuvo Drops.

Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps - Inspiration Wednesday

Hi Friends! Its Inspirational Wednesday over at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

I absolutely love the Monkey Business stamp set..I honestly had a smile on my face the entire time I was colour this super cute image. I decided to create a shaker card and used the bananas from the stamp set as added shaker elements inside the shaker window.
